Immune Soup

Super Immune Soup



Carrots 3-4 cut in medium size pieces
Celery 1-2 stalks cut in medium size pieces
Onion 1 small, cut in medium size pieces
Broccoli 2-3 floweretts
Cauliflower 1-2 floweretts
Potato 1 small, cut in medium size pieces
Yam or sweet potato 1 small, cut in medium size pieces
Green beans 5-6 beans

**you may use any or all of these fresh vegetables, or include your favorites.

Immune Soup

Steam vegetables until tender, put 1 to 1-1/2 cups of steamed vegetables in blender and cover with chicken broth.

Add 2 cloves garlic and a pinch of cayenne powder.

Blend until vegetables are pureed.

**follow blender instructions for hot foods

Return blended mixture to saucepan. Add more broth OR organic cream or half & half to make smooth but thick soup. Add remaining whole vegetables for texture.

Herbs to add, (select one for your particular condition)

Marjoram for gastritis

Basil for stomach discomfort

Thyme for expectorant, sedative, throat & bronchial conditions.

Warm soup, then serve with a salad and warm bread.
