Healthy Hearty Soup

Warm and Hearty Soup

Quick, warm & hearty soup: *this is a great "clean out the 'fridge" recipe

  • Steam a variety of vegetables (carrot, potato, celery, onion, green beans, broccoli, cabbage, etc.)
  • Healthy Soup
  • Carefully, place steamed vegetables and the water in blender (adjust portion to blender capacity). Add organic chicken, beef or vegetable broth to cover vegetables.
  • Blend until vegetables are pureed *follow blender instructions for hot liquids
  • Season to your taste: freshly ground pepper, herbs or spices
  • Return to saucepan to reheat, if necessary. Serve with warm whole grain bread and a mixed green salad.
