

Most nutrition specialists agree that our lifestyle contributes to the scale tipping. We aren't as active a nation as earlier generations, with our more sedentary jobs, spending hours at the computer, in the car, or standing in poor fitting shoes.
Our youth spend many hours at the computer, in front of the TV, or playing arcade games instead of engaging in more physically challenging forms of entertainment. This in addition to poor dietary choices, limited relaxation and social time and inadequate rest contribute to our less than optimal health.
