One of my favorite summer season activities is visiting gardens. This weekend I took an impromptu drive to Vail, Colorado and strolled the peaceful paths at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. At an elevation of 8,200 feet  this gorgeous garden grows an incredible diversity of plant life. The bold summer colors complementing the quiet crystal-clear ponds . . . what a respite from a noisy weekend! I hope you’ll stop along this garden path the next time you’re needing a few minutes of calm . . . and smell the flowers.

Next week I’ll be strolling country gardens in Texas . . . please visit again.
